There were Eight FCS Victories over FBS Teams in 2014

There were eight FCS victories over FBS teams in 2014.  The Missouri Valley took honors with two of those victories, including the biggest of the year.

North Dakota State’s win at Iowa State, of the Big 12, is the biggest of the year because the Cyclones are in the Power Five.  Three FBS conferences, the MAC, Sun Belt, and C-USA, were victimized twice.  Northwestern State’s win at Louisiana Tech was also a monster considering Tech won the C-USA West and will play for the C-USA Championship.  Additionally, the Southland matched the Missouri Valley with two FBS wins.  Liberty’s win at Appalachian State was also impressive considering the Mountaineers finished third in the Sun Belt.
